At 43, Buckingham-road, Aylesbury, on the 4th inst., Mr. Francis Rogers Bishop (formerly of Askett, Monks Risborough), aged 85 years. Funeral on Monday, Feb. 10th, at Great Kimble Church. - [S160] Parish Register.

On February 10, the funeral of the late Mr. F. R. Bishop, a native of Great Kimble parish, took place in the Church there ... Mr. Bishop had for many years been living in Monks Risborough parish, previous to his coming to Aylesbury. He had taken part in the choir at Great Kimble Church from the age of 12 years, being born and brought up at the Grove Farm. about a mile from the Church. He held the post of chorister in Great Kimble and Monls Risborough Churches up till within the last two years of his life, having been a most regular chorister for over 70 years. - [S36] National Probate Calendar.
