Mr. and Mrs. Stanmore, of Doe Hill Cottage, Kimble, gave the children of the local school a very enjoyable party on Satursday afternoon, when the scholars (numbering over 100) were entertained with games and sports, for which useful prizes were presented. At the conclusion each child was given a packet of goodies and a gift of money from Mr. and Mrs. Stanmore. Mr. Frank Stanmore is the well-known film comedian, who plays the male comedy roles in the Betty Balfour films.

We regret to record the death of Frank Stanmore (Francis Henry Pink), actor and dramatist, which took place after a nine weeks' illness in a nursing home in Gravesend on August 15. He was 66 years of age ... The funeral took place at Gravesend last Tuesday week.
