    1. [S2146] Bell's Weekly Messenger, Death By Poison, 10 Sep 1826.
On Monday last, a most distressing occurrence took place at the house of a respecytable farmer, at Little Kimble, Bucks, which became a subject of inquiry on the following day, before J. Charsley, Esq., the coroner, who held his inquisition on view of the body of Celia White, a single woman, aged about 24 years ... the verdict was that she died from the effect of poison, but whether taken by herself or administered to her by any other person, no evidence was adduced. It appeared that she kept company with one of her fellow servants for two years; and it is conjectured that her disappointment in love affairs had induced her to commit the rash act.

    2. [S2147] Evening Mail, Deplorable Occurrence, 11 Sep 1826.
A deplorable occurrence took place on Moday last, at Little Kimble, in the household of Mr. John Pope Fordom, a respectable farmer at that place. Celia White, a native of Lower Winchendon, a remarkably steady young woman, who was within a day of completing her 24th year of age, having lived servant in the family for nearly four years, and previously three years in the service of a near relation, was much regarded by the family and her neighbours for her superior sedate and correct behaviour, as well as for long continuance in her place. In the same family was a young man, who entered into service about the same time as herself, and with who a mutual and strong attachment having been formed, she was expected to be united to him in marriage at the ensuing Michaelmus.
