Harold James Boswell my husband d. May 14 1970 aged 71.

A member of the Kimble branch of the British Legion, Mr. Harold James Boswell, died at his home, Marsh Road, last Thursday. He was 71.
Born at Whickham, Hampshire, he moved to Kimble with his family in 1912. He worked on a Kimble farm for a while, and then became an apprentice bricklayer. He worked in the building trade for many years.
During his youth he was a keen footballer. In later life his hobby was gardening, and he frequently exhibited his produce at Kimble Horticultural Show. He also assisted at many children's parties in the locality.
During the second world war he served as a member of the Fire Service at Princes Risborough.
For the last 14 years he had worked for Aylesbury Rural District Council at their Hartwell depot.
Mr. Boswell leaves a widow.
The funeral service, at Little Kimble Parish Church, on Saturday, was conducted by the Rector, the Rev. J. C. V. Wilkes.

There was a large attendance at Great Kimble Church on Saturday afternoon to witness the wedding of Mr. Harold James Boswell, second son of Mr. and Mrs. George Boswell, of Icknield Cottages, and Miss Bertha Gladys Avery, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Avery, of Council Cottages, Longwick Road, Princes Risborough.
