Amid every sign of sympathy and respect, the funeral of Mr. William Thomas Joseph Evett, of Malt House Farm, who died the previous Friday at the age of 49, took place on Monday afternoon. Mr. Evett was the eldest son of the late Mr. W. Y. Evett, of "Oakfield", Tring Road, Aylesbury, and after being a milk retailer in Aylesbury for many years, went to Malt House Farm about three years ago ... Much sympathy is felt with Mrs. Evett and her fours sons and one daughter in their great bereavement.
The funeral service at the Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin and the commital in the churchyard were conducted by the Vicar (the Rev. F. J. Winterton). - [S36] National Probate Calendar.
