      The funeral of Mr. Amos Tilbury, of The Junipers, Bridge Street, Great Kimble, took place on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Tilbury died on the previous Saturday, at the age of 83, after an illness which only lasted for 10 days. He was a native of Owlswick, where members of his family still reside, and 32 years ago he married Miss Alice Simmons, a member of a Kimble family who kept a general store in Bridge Street. Mr. and Mrs. Tilbury made their home in Bridge Street, Mrs. Tilbury looked after the shop while her husband continued to work a small holding which he possessed in Owlswick. Mr. Tilbury was one of the original members of the Unity Lodge of Oddfellows at Princes Risborough, having joined in 1872. He was at one time a member of the Monks Risborough Parish Council, and at the time of his death a member and a deacon of the Kimble Free Church, where Mrs. Tilbury is organist. Wednesday's service was conducted by the Rev. H. C. Shaddick, the Free Church minister ... The actual interment took place at Princes Risborough Baptist Churchyard.
