      The Rev. John Ormond, late rector of Horsenden, died on Dec. 1st, at The Paragon, Blackheath, Kent, in his 86th year. Mr. Ormond, who was formerly a Fellow of Pembroke College, Oxford, graduated in 1850, was ordained in 1852, and after serving curacies he became, in 1857 till 1872, vicar of Kimble. He was afterwards Secretary for the Propagation of the Gospel chaplain at Pegli and Consular chaplain at Trieste, and from 1886 till 1898 rector of Horsenden, where he was greatly beloved. The remain were interred at Horsenden on Friday, Dec. 4th, being brought from Blackheath by motor car.
